Baptism

Today was Ethan's baptism. The service was crazy with crying, wiggly kiddos every where. Ethan was one of them, but at least it's done now. He has now be baptized and welcomed into the Lord's family. We are so blessed that our good friend Joel Purcell was the pastor to baptize Ethan.

He got a cute little frog, a christening bib, & a book from The Smith family, some clothes & a workbench from Aunt Courtney, and a dining set from YaYa & Papi for his celebration.

Out in the Country

Yesterday we went up to visit Marian & James in Huntsville. Ethan slept the whole way there, played with his aunts & cousins all day without a fuss, and then slept the whole way home. He is such a sweet little boy.

Tooth Troubles

This week Ethan's first tooth has been causing havoc in our household. It must be bugging him because he will not stay asleep at night. Poor Drew & I are at our wits end. I'll take a picture when it finally comes all the way through. Right now you just see part of it, and boy is it sharp!!

6 Month Check-up

Ethan now weighs 18 lbs. 1 oz. & is 27 inches tall. He's smack dab in the middle of the growth curve. :)

Happy 1/2 Birthday!!!

Ethan is officially half a year old today. Wow! Time sure flies when you're having fun. He can sit up like a champ & hold his own bottle now, and he's fallen in love with yogurt melts & puffs.

Playdate at the Pool

Today Ethan & I met up with some members of our playgroup at Cranebrook Pool in The Woodlands to cool off at the splash pad. Ethan, John John, & Dylan seemed to really enjoy escaping the heat and enjoying the cool water.
